Install SETIPTV on Android TV and boxes

Two methods: the Downloader app with a short code, ideal with a remote, or a direct APK download.

Method 1: Downloader app (recommended)

  1. Install “Downloader”

    From the Google Play Store or the Amazon Appstore (Fire TV), search for the free “Downloader” app (by AFTVnews).

  2. Allow unknown sources

    Android TV: Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources, enable Downloader. Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps.

  3. Enter the code

    In Downloader, type 5345407 in the address field, then “Go”. The SETIPTV download starts.

  4. Install and open SETIPTV

    Confirm the install. You can then delete the downloaded APK file to free up space.

Method 2: direct APK

In the device's browser, open the address below, then open the downloaded file to install it (after allowing unknown sources for the browser).

All files, with their size and SHA-256 checksum, are on the Download page. For an older box that refuses the install, use the older version.

TCL and Haier TVs

TCL and Haier TVs running Android TV or Google TV install with the methods above. Other models aren't covered by this procedure.

Common issues

  • “App not installed”: an older version may already be installed. Uninstall it, then try again.
  • The Install button is greyed out: the source (Downloader or browser) isn't allowed to install apps.
  • Not enough space: the current APK is 19.6 MB; free up space in Settings → Storage.
