SETIPTV by SETSYSTEME

Install SETIPTV on a Samsung TV

The method depends on the TV's year: the app store on Tizen models, developer mode on older ones.

Samsung Tizen TVs (J, K, M, N, Q, R series and newer)

  1. Open “Apps”

Home button on the remote, then “Apps”.

  2. Search for “SETIPTV”

Use the search icon at the top right of the store.

  3. Install and open the app

The home screen shows the MAC address to use at setsysteme.com.

Older Samsung TVs (E, ES, F, H, HU, J4, J52 series)

These models can't access the Tizen store. SETIPTV installs through user application sync, using the sync server IP address:

94.23.97.11
  1. Sign in with the “develop” account

Open Smart Hub, then the Samsung account sign-in. Enter the ID develop (create it if needed; the password can be left empty or set to the one suggested by the TV).

  2. Open the IP address setting

E series: Tools button → Settings → Development. F and H series: in Smart Hub, press and hold the centre button on an app, then choose “IP Setting”.

  3. Enter the IP address

    Type 94.23.97.11 and confirm.

  4. Start the sync

Choose “User Application Synchronization” or “Start User App Sync”. SETIPTV appears in Smart Hub once the sync is done.

Menu names vary by year and country. If the sync finds nothing, restart the TV (unplug it for 30 seconds), check the internet connection and run the sync again.

How do I know if my TV runs Tizen?

The series letter is in the model name, after the size: for example UE55MU6100 is an M series (Tizen). E, F and H series (2012 to 2014) use the older system.
