Where does the guide come from?
- Your provider's guide
If your playlist includes one, SETIPTV shows it first.
- The SETIPTV guide
If your provider doesn't offer a guide, SETIPTV provides its own TV guides. There's nothing to set up.
On the provider's side, the guide comes as follows:
- Xtream Codes login: the guide is usually served by the same server as the channels.
- M3U link: the playlist points to an XMLTV guide source (often in the header,
url-tvgattribute), and each channel carries a guide ID (tvg-id).
The guide is empty
- Restart the app: the guide loads at start-up, after the playlist.
- Check the device's internet connection, then wait a moment: the guide can take longer to load than the channels.
- If only some channels have no listings, they're covered neither by your provider's guide nor by SETIPTV's. Email support@manage-setiptv.com with the exact names of those channels.
The times are off
Check the device's date, time and time zone, set to automatic if possible. If the shift persists, report it: to your provider if it's their guide, to SETIPTV support otherwise.
Good to know: SETIPTV provides TV guides, but no channels and no content. Requests for channels or lists sent to support go unanswered.
